The Department of Management Science at the University of Strathclyde offers the MSc in Operational Research by Distance Learning.
It is also available as a full or part-time course on-campus.
The fully tutored and modularised nature of the course allows admissions in April and October.

This includes ten modules which can be completed fully online.
After completion of the Postgraduate Certificate, four further modules are required to be undertaken. From September 2007, attendance at intensive seminars and workshops at international local centres is no longer a requirement. These are now conducted using internet-based live conferencing and collaboration systems.
After completion of the Postgraduate Diploma in OR, a project will be undertaken which will be integrated with their employment.
